Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) shares are off of intraday lows Wednesday following comments from CEO James Gorman that the firm stayed 100 percent within the rules on Facebook's (Nasdaq: FB) IPO. Gorman addressed the issued at a weekly strategy meeting.
In addition, Gorman said Morgan Stanley received regulatory calls for its information-sharing process. He also noted there was "unprecedented confusion and disarray" in the opening hours of Facebook's IPO.
Shares are down 3.4 percent on the session.
