In a company note, analysts at Oppenheimer highlighted takeaways from General Electric (NYSE: GE) Chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt’s presentation at the Electronic Product Group.

Immelt spoke to strong industrial outlook, margin accretion opportunities, and cash extraction strategies at GE. His primary message consisted of having no interest in large deals and continuing to shrink GE Capital systematically beyond 2012, while reinforcing key emphasis on industrial strength at the company.

Oppenheimer analysts think these efforts will support the stock price. They have an OUTPERFORM rating on the GE.
