Xylem (XYL) Unit Gets $12.3M Chemical-Agent Monitoring Contract with Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass

Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL), reports that CMS Field Products, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xylem's OI Analytical brand, has entered into a $12.3 million contract with Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass, a systems contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives program. Through the contract, OI Analytical will provide a chemical-agent monitoring system that is based on its MINICAMS® product line. The technologies will play an essential role in industrial air monitoring as part of a U.S. Army program responsible for safely destroying a stockpile of chemical weapons currently in storage.
