Wells Fargo initiates coverage on Agilent (NYSE: A) with an Outperform/Top Pick. PT range $50-55.

Analyst, Tim Evans, said, "Agilent has a strong portfolio of innovative products, a favorable geographic footprint (heavy in emerging markets), and a favorable end-market mix with little exposure to not-for-profit (NFP) research. We also like management’s focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and returns-oriented incentives. These factors, coupled with an attractive valuation and seemingly conservative guidance, earn the stock our top pick. We set our FY2012/2013 EPS estimates at $3.22/$3.55 respectively."
