Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR) could be in the midst of negotiating a licensing deal with Juniper (Nasdaq: JNPR), according to analysts at Oppenheimer.
"Based on our checks we believe Radware is in advanced negotiations with Juniper for a software licensing deal," the firm said. "In our opinion, Juniper is looking to license Radware's ADC engine and integrate it with its own data center switch architecture, the QFabric."
The deal size could be substantial at $70-$100 million and could go over 3-5 years, the firm notes.
The two already have a working relationship after announcing in the fourth quartehr that sell Radware's ADC solution on Juniper's MX routers targeting the service provider market.
If the new deal materializes, Oppenheimer sees its adding ~$0.75 in EPS upside per annum for Radware at the midpoint of our estimates.
The firm maintained their Outperform rating and price target of $42.00.
