UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Wendy's (NASDAQ: WEN) price target lowered from $5.50 to $4.90.

Analyst, David Palmer, said, "Given 1Q’s miss, we are lowering our price target to $4.90 and our 2012e EBITDA and EPS estimates from $350M and $0.21 to $325M (-2% YOY), and $0.16 (5%YOY) respectively. Our sense is that increasing competitive pressures within the QSR sector will impede Wendy’s ability to regain its same store sales growth momentum in 2Q and we are accordingly lowering our 2Q same store sales estimate from 2% to 1%."
