Maxim Group maintains a 'Buy' on Viacom (NASDAQ: VIAB) price target of $59.00.

Analyst, John Tinker, said, "Overall revenue increased by 2% y/y to $3.3B. Media Network’s revenue increased to $2.19B (up 5% y/y). Media Network’s (which includes MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, BET etc.) advertising revenue was flat at $1.07B, and affiliate revenue increased to $992M (up 17% y/y) helped by digital distribution deals to companies such as Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN)(NotRated)."

"Viacom highlighted that Nickelodeon, despite a ratings decline, remains the No. 1 cable network in total day. SpongeBob was the No. 1 TV program with kids 2-11, and iCarly was the No. 1 kids program among total viewers...Raising FY12 adjusted EPS estimates to $4.37 (up 16% y/y) from our prior estimate of $4.13, due to a $0.09 beat and lower share count. We are raising our FY13 adjusted EPS estimates to $5.05, from $4.92, due to a lower share count."
