UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Pentair (NYSE: PNR) price target lowered from $48 to $46.

Analyst, Robert Barry, said, "Q1 sales grew about 1% organic, continuing a deceleration seen throughout 2011. Macro pressures in Europe spread from Water to Tech Products, growth in the “fast growth” (emerging market) regions moderated, the muni end market remains in decline. Robust housing start activity, albeit off a low base, did little to move the growth needle on PNR’s largely replacement focused resi pump business (old “Resi Flow”). An especially dry 1Q also posed headwinds. But EBIT margins grew 20bp y/y as price/productivity net of inflation was the best it has been in 8 quarters."

UBS raises FY12 EPS estimate from $2.65 to $2.74, but lowers FY13 from $3.15 to $3.06.
