Global Hunter Securities maintains an 'Accumulate' on Chart Industries (NASDAQ: GTLS) price target of $92.00.

Analyst, Jeff Spittel, said, "If we learned anything from yesterday's trading action, it's that GTLS is not to be trifled with during earnings season. The stock uncorked a big old can of it despite a quarterly earnings miss and static 2012 EPS guidance, as orders and backlog set new records largely on extraordinarily robust LNG bookings. The stock is trading at exceptionally rich multiples, but we believe that until growth opportunities diminish or cyclical headwinds materialize, this is the exception that proves the rule with respect to valuation. Think the stock is trading on earnings expectations? Since 2006 there has been a 90% correlation between the quarterly closing price of GTLS and orders, and orders ain't shrinking. GTLS provides more avenues for investors to play secular global natural gas consumption growth than any other company in the public space and the market has explicitly demonstrated a willingness to pay up for its thematic appeal."
