UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on ATMI Inc. (NASDAQ: ATMI) price target lowered from $25 to $23.
Analyst, Stephen Chin, said, "Slight sales miss in 1Q12 which appears to be 1-time in nature...2012 semiconductor wafer starts still expected to be up over 5% yoy...ATMI does not provide specific guidance but estimates 2Q12 will mark the seasonal peak quarter for wafer starts which suggest 1-3% q/q wafer start growth in 3Q12 and 4Q12. ATMI also remain committed to investing in direct sales and have added an extra $1M in opex per quarter. Our new FY12 and FY13 EPS estimates are $1.25 and $1.75 versus $1.40 and $1.80, previously."
