UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on American Campus Communities (NYSE: ACC) price target raised from $41 to $43.

Analyst, Derek Bower, said, "Management did a respectable job on the Q1 earnings call of assuring the market that core leasing is tracking as expected for the 2012-2013 school year despite the 380bp leasing gap. We remain in the camp that the stock has already priced in a successful end to the leasing season, giving ACC's talented management team the benefit of the doubt. Accordingly, we continue to believe the risk/reward equation skews slightly to the downside in the near-term. We expect the next leasing update to be provided at the NAREIT conference in mid-June."
