Needham & Company maintains a 'Hold' on Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN).

Analyst, Kerry Rice, said, "While Amazon should benefit from solid 1Q12 e-commerce trends, we remain cautious given 31% YoY revenue growth expectations, which we see as optimistic. We see three factors that could pressure revenue growth: 1) slower Kindle Fire shipments; 2) downward trend in revenue per unit; and 3) growth in third-party (3P) revenue. Our GAAP EPS estimate is above expectations, but infrastructure investments could cause a deviation from these expectations."

"Our 1Q12 revenue estimate is $12.7 billion compared to consensus of $12.9 billion. Our GAAP EPS estimate of $0.10 is slightly above consensus of $0.07 as a result of higher interest income."
