Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: CELL) and Foxconn Global Services Division s.r.o., which is part of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd. also known as Foxconn Technology Group, the world's largest manufacturer of mobile devices, today announced a strategic alliance to provide technical aftermarket services to both existing and new customers throughout the EMEA region.
The collaboration between BrightPoint and Foxconn Global Services Division will deliver industry-leading technical governance and supply chain integration, ultimately reducing turnaround times, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing costs, inventory and waste output.
The alliance will deliver high-quality refurbishment and remanufacturing services and, by leveraging BrightPoint's extensive channels and global reach, devices will be introduced into new or developing markets at a vastly reduced cost.
