UBS maintains a 'Buy' on US Airways Group (NYSE: LCC) price target raised $1 to $13.50.

Analyst, Kevin Crissey, said, "With US Airways having won AMR union support for a merger, the company has taken a big step toward a long desired merger. We believe LCC mgmt viewed labor as the key variable in whether or not a merger happened. However, there are many more steps to go and a LCC/AMR merger is not a formality...We believe there is a potential double in the stock ($18 valuation) should a merger be consummated and the synergies outlined (sharply haircut from mgmt guidance) be achieved...The whole US airline industry is likely to benefit from further industry consolidation, should it happen."
