Nomura Securities maintains a 'Reduce' on Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) price target raised from $28 to $30.

Analyst, Romit Shah said, "Adjusted EPS of $0.29 was $0.02 above our estimate due to higher gross margin. Q2 EPS guidance is $0.40 vs. our estimate of $0.39 and consensus of $0.40. Revenue guidance of +10% is slightly better than normal seasonal growth of 8-9%. We are encouraged by the improvement in bookings and backlog. However, we are concerned that the core wireless business will remain a drag in the future. Our 2012E/2013E EPS increases from $1.74/$2.15 to $1.78/$2.20, respectively...At 15x CY13 EPS we would be more constructive on a pullback."
