Nomura Securities maintains a 'Reduce' on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) price target of $25.00.
Analyst, Romit Shah, said, "Intel indicated that Ivy Bridge parts for Ultrabooks will be available in a couple months. While this language may indicate some sort of delay relative to ODM expectations (May/June), we do not interpret this as a significant yield issue."
"This announcement from Intel may continue to pressure shares of AMD (NYSE: AMD), in our view. We expect a high number of design wins on the 22nm quad-core parts, which could affect AMD’s share in the desktop and traditional notebook space."
