Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) price target of $35.00.

Analyst, Brian A. Johnson, said, "Despite limited near-term upside, we see the glass as half full for JCI: Post in-line F2Q12 results, the debate is whether to see the glass as half full or half empty for JCI. Coming into the print, JCI was one of the more challenged names in the space, and the glass-half-empty view would see limited turnaround potential, especially over the next 2-3 quarters. However, we view JCI with the glass-half-full approach, albeit with a healthy dose of caution, as we have increased confidence in JCI's prospects for 2013-'14."

Johnson thinks the company's three segments (Automotive, Power Solutions, and Building Efficiency) are all heading in the right direction. Barclays maintains FY12 EPS estimate at $2.71, but lowers FY13 from $3.39 to $3.29.
