UBS maintains a 'Buy' on Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM) price target raised from $76 to $81.
Analyst, David Palmer, "Following YUM’s 1Q earnings, we are raising our target to $81 from $76 and our 2012 and 2013 EPS estimates from $3.32 and $3.80 (+16% YOY) to $3.34 (+15% YOY) and $3.85 respect ively. We are also raising our US same store sales (SSS) growth estimate from 4% to 7%, including 3%, 10%, and 4% at KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut respectively. Our 2012E US and na profit growth forecasts move to 19% and 22% from 11% and 26% respectively."
"The help o f refranchising, we believe that the US is once again becoming a top tier fast food player and YRI is becoming more EM centric and highly franchised. Together with China, we believe this combination of sustainability, high returns, and consistency is worth a premium to its large cap consumer peers."
