Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Royal Caribbean Cruises (NYSE: RCL) price target of $36.00.
Analyst, Harry C. Curtis, said, "The release is only a modest negative for a stock that has underperformed for 12 months. We don’t think it provides much fuel (pun intended) for either the longs or the shorts in the near term. However, RCL did comment that its 2013 bookings are up and at higher prices, with improvement being seen in Europe recently. Those comments should give support to the stock, and we continue to believe that at current valuations (both RCL and Carnival (NYSE: CCL)) can appreciate if global yields recover to +4% or more once Europe begins to recover."
Other highlighted points include: 1) Yield outlook is in-line with expectations; and 2) Costs increase slightly
