Baird reiterates an 'Outperform' on Achillion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ACHN) price target of $15.00.

Analyst, Thomas J. Russo, said, "Recommend adding ACHN on weakness following what we view as an overreaction and very pre-mature read-through from today’s GILD/BMY update at EASL. New data from GILD’s/BMY’s combo of ‘7977/daclatasvir re-establishes ‘7977 as the best game in town and validates a nuke/NS5A combo approach. But we continue to have conviction that ACHN will remain relevant with continued success in the clinic, given the field is learning there may be more than one way to succeed and the overall competitive dynamic."
