UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) price target raised from $127 to $140.

Analyst, Nikos Theodosopoulos, said, "Strength in the quarter was driven by telcos (+24% QoQ, +65% YoY), particularly US wireless. US federal Gov't and Japan both had strong sequentially rebounds and all geographies showed strong growth. Soft spots were financial and total enterprise which was -6% seq and +7% YoY."

"Our PT goes to $140 based on 25x our CY13 EPS estimate of $5.60 (up from $5.50). We raise our target multiple (was 23x) given continued increase in GM reflective of success in high mgn software add ons (e.g. security modules). In addition our checks continue to suggest no change in the competitive response from Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) in this segment and lack of traction at Citrix (Nasdaq: CTXS) (#2 ADC player) in the Services Provider market."
