VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) reported Q1 EPS of $0.66, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.06 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.03 billion.
Said second quarter 2012 revenues are expected to be in the range of $1.10-$1.12 billion. The consensus is $1.11 billion.
Annual 2012 revenues are expected to be in the range of $4.525 and $4.625 billion, an increase of 20% to 23% from 2011, and annual license revenues are expected to grow between 12% and 16%. The revenue consensus is $4.57 billion.
