CSR plc (Nasdaq: CSRE) has opened the CSR Automotive Systems Development and Applications Centre in Ingolstadt, Southern Germany.
CSR acquired the facility, which was built by TEMIC Telefunken Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH, a provider of RF system solutions for auto-infotainment and consumer products, as part of its merger with Zoran Corporation last year. Close to the major German automotive OEM’s and Tier One suppliers, the Ingolstadt facility is also only a short distance from CSR customers in the automotive centres throughout Europe.
