Oracle's (ORCL) Ellison Says Co. Considered Acquisition of RIM (RIMM), Was 'Too Expensive'
Shares of RIM (Nasdaq: RIMM) have ticked above the $13.25 level over just the last few minutes as Oracle's (Nasdaq: ORCL) Larry Ellison discussed the BlackBerry maker at a testimony for the Oracle-Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) lawsuit.
Ellison said Oracle considered making a move for RIM, but decided the company was "too expensive."
RIM shares are now down 0.4 percent to $13.37 but are pushing to session highs.
