Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) price target of $145.00.

Analyst, Glenn Schorr, said, "Core number more in the $4.20 range ex $225mm of DVA and even higher if you exclude $175mm in charges/provision. While FICC wasn’t as big as some expected and we think people will always partially discount a good Investing & Lending number, there was more revenue balance in the quarter, as equities and banking were better, GS showed good expense trends (full comp accrual and non-comp down 8% q/q), and GS has the ability to buy back a bunch more stock. All in, we think a 12% ROE isn’t bad considering macro environment wasn’t great and GS took risk down – remember, this stock is $17 below book and $6 below tangible."
