Hydrogenics Corporation (Nasdaq: HYGS) has been awarded a development project for a rail application of the HyPM HD 90, together with the NRC-CSTT (National Research Council – Centre for Surface Transportation Technology.
From the release: Hydrogenics is pleased that our platform of heavy duty fuel cell power modules has been chosen as the primary power APU for the hybrid light rail vehicle. Testing of the vehicle will take place starting in the fall of 2012 in Kingston, Ontario which will allow for winter cold weather testing.
