Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Danaher (NYSE: DHR) price target of $65.00.

Analyst, Shannon O' Callaghan, said, "Danaher is adding to its Product ID business with the $625m agreement to acquire X-Rite, a global leader in color measurement technology for 10x 2011 EBITDA (we estimate around 9x 2012 EBITDA). We view the deal as a solid strategic addition to Product ID, complementing the company’s Esko business (acquired in early 2011). X-Rite is expected to close in 2Q12, be slightly dilutive in 2012 (we think around $0.02-$0.03 dilutive including one-time items that will not be called out), and ~$0.04 accretive in 2013."
