Amarin (AMRN) Shares Move Lower as USPTO Requires Restriction/Election for '569 Patent

Amarin (Nasdaq: AMRN) shares have dipped in mid-day trade Wednesday afternoon as the US PTO issued a response to the company's 12/815,569 patent filing.
The updated document requires restriction from inventions Claims 1-18 and 20-33, and Claim 19.
"Applicant is advised that the replay to this requirement to be complete must include (i) an election of a invention to be examined even though the requirement may be traversed (37 CFR 1.143) and (ii) identification of the claims encompassing the elected invention."
The stock last traded at $10.61, down 5 percent from Tuesday's close.
