Speculators are snapping up shares of social gaming company Zynga, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZNGA) Wednesday morning following reports in the NY Post that the company is talking with casino powerhouse Wynn (Nasdaq: WYNN) about a potential online gambling partnership.
At least twenty states are considering legalizing online gambling; if Zynga is to capitalize on the future opportunity the company needs to form partnerships with casino operators in those states, the Post reported.
Shares of Zynga last traded at $12.55, up 2.1 percent from Tuesday's close.
