Shares of SINA (Nasdaq: SINA) are indicated lower Monday following news over the weekend that China suspended comments on Sina's Weibo and Tencent microblogging services for three days. The suspension will last through April 3.
The action by the government could be related to widespread reports of a military coup in Beijing and may not be related to users missing the March 16th real-name registration deadline.
Shares of SINA are bid at $62.40 early Monday, versus Friday's close of $65.
