Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (Nasdaq: GMCR) shares are trending lower Monday amid reports of a new insider transaction.
According to Bloomberg headlines, Green Mountain founder Robert Stiller sold shares ahead of the Starbucks (Nasdaq: SBUX) K-Cup threat. The report has Stiller selling about 1 million shares from February 15th - 24th.
It was said that Green Mountain was informed of the plan. Spokespeople for Green Mountain have not commented.
Shares are now up 1.2 percent, off of session highs.
