Auriga reiterates a 'Buy' on Ubiquiti Networks (NASDAQ: UBNT) price target of $31.00.
Auriga analyst said, "In attending our first ever Ubiquiti World Conference last Friday in Chicago, we were both impressed and surprised by the devotion, enthusiasm, and technological competence of the body of 700-800 Ubiquiti customers and distributors that formed the balance of the attendees. The venue, which serves as an avenue for customers to learn about new Ubiquiti products and updates, also provides a critical product design and use feedback loop for Ubiquiti engineers. Last week's gathering was highlighted by the introduction of Ubiquiti's latest product, airFiber, a microwave point-to-point radio link that provides transmission speeds up to 1.4 gigabits per second, a resounding seven times faster than the design characteristics we had expected in the product announcement. Operating in the unlicensed 24 GHz band, airFiber is an ideal solution for extending the reach of fiber without having to dig a trench, and on account of its simplistic self-install capability in combination with its almost unbelievable $2,995 price tag per link, airFiber is a far more compelling fiber extension for Ubiquiti's highly cost-sensitive customer base."
