Shares of IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS) have dipped noticeably in intraday trade Thursday following a mid-day downgrade from Piper Jaffray's Peter Appert. The stock is now down about 5.5 percent from Wednesday's close.
Appert now rates IHS shares a Neutral, down from Overweight previously. The analyst maintained a $96 price target.
The downgrade follows a Q1 miss and news the company has acquired IMS Research in a $46 million deal.
