Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) price target of $45.00.
Analyst, Felicia R. Hendrix, said, "Based on recent channel checks, we believe that Harley's domestic retail sales in 1Q12 have been strong (well into the double-digit percentages y/y vs -0.5% in 1Q11). We attribute this strength to three factors: 1) solid underlying growth; 2) a mild winter; and 3) an attractive financing program from HDFS offering 1% APR to customers of higher credit quality (program runs December through March)."
