Quicksilver (KWK) Files to Delay 10-K Amid Audit; Offers Prelim. Q4 Earnings

Quicksilver Resources (NYSE: KWK) announces it has filed to delay its Form 10-K.

The company offered Q4 preliminary earnings of 16 cents per share, which compares to the Street estimate of a loss of 5 cents per share. Quicksilver's adjusted-EPS figure will be unchanged.

The company cited integrated control and financial statement audits for the delay.
