Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) price target of $24.00.

Analyst, Stuart Jeffrey, said, "Cisco announced the planned acquisition of NDS this morning for $5bn including the assumption of debt and retention-based incentives. The proposed deal has been approved by both boards and is due to close in H2 2012. NDS provides a high-margin video centric revenue stream...For the full-year 2011 NDS reported revenue of $824m, gross margins of 86% and an operating margin of 27%."

"Over the next three years we are projecting: 1) Revenue growth of 13% to $1.2bn, Gross margins rising to 87%, EBIT margins at 28-29%, and Growth in net income from continuing operations of 121%."
