Needham & Company maintains a 'Hold' on FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ: FCEL).

ANalyst, Michael Lew, said, "FCEL quarterly results were marked by steady gross margin improvement, which was better than we had forecasted. The POSCO investment, combined with a growing pipeline in Europe, suggests demand for FuelCell Energy’s products is improving on a global basis. However, we are maintaining our Hold rating as the annual production rate is unchanged and below ‘breakeven’ levels."

Needham raises FY12 EPS loss fro (0.25) to (0.20) and FY13 from (0.21) to (0.17)
