Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM) after hosting a conference call (on 3/12) with MGM's CFO.

Analyst, Felicia R. Hendrix, said, "Overall, the tone of the conference call was positive and reflected the improving Las Vegas environment, MGM's healthier balance sheet and strong cash flow in Macau. We continue to believe MGM is the best way to invest in the Las Vegas recovery in our coverage universe."

Other highlighted points from the conference call include: MGM is continuing to see (casino) improvement in Las Vegas; Made significant process in improving its liquidity profile since financial crisis began; seen no real change in behavior from its junket operators; and continues to seek new growth opportunities, such as its agreements with Creative Casinos and Ameristar Casinos (Nasdaq: ASCA).
