Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Vodafone (NASDAQ: VOD), PT 230p.
Analyst, James Britton, said, "Vodafone’s roadshow comments on guidance were cautious, we think, in light of macro and regulatory headwinds and also reference to tough competition. In its defense, Vodafone cited outperformance against peers across its footprint and flagged the benefits of diversification. Vodafone is also willing to look for more opportunities to reduce its cost base if needed. Risk to revenue guidance of 1-4% was acknowledged as the macro outlook has deteriorated in Europe and regulation is tougher. Vodafone will showcase the strengths of its Enterprise positioning at its Open Office on March 14."
