TranS1 (TSON) Gets Approval from AMA CPT for AxiaLIF Implant in L5-S1 Spinal Fusion

TranS1 Inc. (Nasdaq: TSON), announced today that the American Medical Association ("AMA") Current Procedural Terminology ("CPT") Panel has voted to approve an application for a Category I CPT code for L5-S1 spinal fusion utilizing TranS1's pre-sacral interbody fusion approach with its AxiaLIF implant. This coding change was recently disclosed on the AMA website and will become effective on January 1, 2013.
