Standpoint Research initiates coverage on Kronos (NYSE: KRO) with a Buy. PT $32.00.
Analyst, Ronnie Moas, said, "Kronos KRO will be reporting Q4 results on Tuesday. At Standpoint Research we do not forecast quarterly numbers. If you are risk averse, stay on the sidelines and wait until after the numbers are reported...Disappointing numbers may already be priced with the shares trading at 9X...33% off the 52-week high...and as is evidenced by recent analyst downgrades and declining EPS estimates."
"Estimates for Q4 have already come down from $0.70 to $0.50 and estimates for 2012 have already come down from $3.37 to $2.72, so there may be risk in staying on the sidelines if the shares open higher after guidance/numbers are reported."
Moas also notes Steven Watson, VP and CEO at Kronos, was buying shares aggressively for his own personal account at $18-$20.
