Nomura Securities Starts Arch Coal Inc (ACI) at Reduce

Nomura Securities initiates coverage on Arch Coal Inc (NYSE: ACI) with a Reduce. PT $12.00.

Analyst, Curt Woodworth, said, "ACI is in a difficult position in the medium term, as the company sees very significant price compression for its lower quality coking coal mix and does not benefit from the full Tygart volume ramp until 2014. FY12E/13E revenues $4517m / $4827m; 2012E/2013E EPS $0.70 / $0.50, 44% and 64% below consensus, respectively."
