YM BioSciences (YMI) Closes 35M Offering at $2/Share

YM BioSciences Inc. (AMEX: YMI) announced the closing of its previously announced public offering (the "Offering") of 35,000,000 common shares at US$2.00 per common share. In addition, the underwriters exercised in full a previously granted option to purchase up to 5,250,000 additional common shares to cover over-allotment for total gross proceeds to the Company of US$80.5 million. BofA Merrill Lynch acted as sole book-running manager for the Offering and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acted as lead manager. JMP Securities LLC, Collins Stewart LLC, Rodman & Renshaw, LLC and Roth Capital Partners, LLC acted as co-managers for the Offering. Bloom Burton & Co. acted as financial advisor to YM.
