SeaDrill Ltd. (SDRL) Raises Quarterly Dividend 5.3% to $0.80; Yields 7.8%

SeaDrill Ltd. (NYSE: SDRL) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.80 per share, or $3.2 annualized. This is a 5.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.76.

The dividend will be payable on March 23, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 12, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 8, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 7.8 percent.
