First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) reported Q4 EPS of $1.26, $0.28 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.54. Revenue for the quarter fell 34% sequentially to $660 million versus the consensus estimate of $781.55 million.
Reaffirms FY12 EPS guidance. Cuts sales guidance from $3.7-$4 billion to $3.5-$3.8 billion. The firm is also reducing FY12 operating cash flow from $0.9-$1.1 billion to $0.8-$0.9 billion.
Cash and Marketable Securities at the end of the fourth quarter were $788 million, down from $795 million at the end of the third quarter.
