Deutsche Bank downgraded Hersha Hospitality Trust (NYSE: HT) from Buy to Hold, price target raised from $5.00 to $5.50.

Deutsche analyst says, "On the upside, HT’s cost effective select service hotels capitalize on an underserved market. HT should continue to earn high margins by pricing just below full service hotels in expensive markets. On the downside, new hotels will drag on margins in 2H12, NYC select service hotels have traded around replacement cost making future supply growth a threat, and we view of NYC (~50% of EBITDA) as an average at best market in 2012."
