Jefferies upgraded American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) to Buy with a price target of $41.50 (up from $39)
The firm comments, "We are upgrading American Electric Power to Buy from Hold based on our expectation that the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) will reaffirm the substance of the company’s electric security plan (ESP) based on a settlement agreement reached late last year."
