Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Kohl's (NYSE: KSS) price target of $52.00.

Analyst, Paul Lejuez, said, "F12 has not started out well for KSS, and the company is in the midst of changing its pricing strategy (will sacrifice merch margin to drive sales, particularly in 2H12, when sourcing costs become a tailwind). We believe its bigger-picture issue is that after years of increasing its private label penetration to drive GM higher, KSS is in a spot where it does not have the brands that people want, which has led to a sales/traffic headwind. There is no change to our F12E EPS of $4.59 (vs guidance of $4.75 and cons of $4.89). We are also introducing our F13E EPS of $5.01."
