Cantor Fitzgerald initiates coverage on STAG Industrial (NYSE: STAG) with a Hold. PT $12.50.

Cantor analyst said, "STAG's portfolio consists of Class B single tenant assets in secondary markets. While we believe that this set of assets may be more stable than the Class A and multi tenant assets of Prologis and EastGroup due to high tenant retention and stagnant rental rates, they also lack potential for substantial fundamental growth. STAG has been, and we expect will continue, turning to acquisitions as a means of providing earnings growth. The company grew its asset base by 25% in 2011, and we expect similar growth in 2012."
