Jefferies raised its price target on Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) from $27 to $28 ahead of fourth quarter results after the close on February 23rd.

The firm comments, "We expect 4Q results to be in line with recent guidance and continue to expect an improving trend over the coming quarters. As such, we see GPS setting up for significant out-performance in 2012 as sales stabilize, margins improve, and sourcing costs moderate. Further, GPS has a solid balance sheet and strong cash flow profile. We reiterate our Buy rating and raise PT to $28."

Jefferies sees Q4 EPS of $0.42, versus the consensus of $0.42.
